State Bird Provisions

State Bird Provisions is One Michelin Star restaurant which started as a recipe for
serving quail, evolved into a restaurant without any programmed elements.
It is a project about redesigning a restaurant’s menu and mock-ups.

Part 2 - Redesigned Menu

I chose an envelope as the menu cover design to make eating there an experience; I want people to feel invited and honored to eat there. The new logo in the yolk-like circle represents their signature dish of quail eggs. The background color of the cover is the earth tone because the restaurant chooses only fresh and natural ingredients.

Menu Prototype

The original menu style was only black and white. There was a lot of information in each section. The design layout of the cuisine name was tiny and hard to read, which was not user-friendly.
